About ICETE 2020 - Multi Conference Platform

NMAM Institute of Technology is organizing International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering (ICETE 2020) on Dec 22 & 23, 2020, which is the 6th International Conference since 2015. For the year 2020, in order to focus on the specific issues associated with various Engineering disciplines, the idea of a Multi Conference Platform had been mooted. Hence, INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EMERGING TRENDS IN ENGINEERING (ICETE 2020) - A MULTI CONFERENCE PLATFORM, will be a collection of several International Conferences with the themes specific to various engineering streams. Besides, there will be an opportunity for students and research scholars of various branches of Engineering & Technology, and industrial professionals to delibrate, present and discuss research papers.

CIVIL ENGINEERING TRENDS AND CHALLENGES FOR SUSTAINABILITY (CTCS 2020) is being organized by Department of Civil Engineering, N.M.A.M. Institute of Technology, Nitte, Karkala, Karnataka, India. Selected Papers may be Published in Scopus Indexed Journals after the final review by the publishers.

Theme of CTCS 2020

International Conference on CIVIL ENGINEERING TRENDS AND CHALLENGES FOR SUSTAINABILITY (CTCS 2020) is a platform for exchange of knowledge from both individual and interdisciplinary researches pertaining to Civil Engineering Challenges and Sustainability. This International Conference aims to bring together the Researchers, Scientists, Engineers, Scholar and Students for providing International forum for the dissemination of original research results in the area of various strategies employed in Civil Engineering Challenges and Sustainable development for the societal benefit.

The core themes of the conference include: Construction Technology and Materials; Structural Engineering; Transportation Engineering; Geotechnical Engineering; Environmental Engineering and Water Resources Engineering; RS & GIS Application; Geology.

About the Institute

Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology (N.M.A.M.I.T.), Affiliated to VTU, Belagavi, is an Autonomous Institution offering UG, PG and Doctoral Programmes. The institute is a unit of Nitte Education Trust, Mangalore. The institute currently offers 7 - UG programmes, 11-M.Tech programmes in Engineering, MBA and MCA programmes. All UG Programmes are accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi and is a ISO 9001:2015 certified Institution. Karkala is a town and the headquarters of Karkala taluk in the Udupi district of Karnataka, India. Located about 60 km from Mangalore, it lies near the Western Ghats. The town was called Pandya Nagari during the period of Jain rule, and later became known as Karikallu, then Karkal and then finally to Karkala. Karkala has a number of natural and historical landmarks. It is located at the bottom of Western Ghats covered with greenery year-round. It is a major junction for religious tourists due to its strategic location along the way to Sringeri, Kalasa, Horanadu, Udupi, Kollur and Dharmasthala.

Udupi is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is the administrative headquarters of Udupi District. Udupi is one of the top tourist attractions in Karnataka. It is notable for the Krishna Temple lends its name to the popular Udupi cuisine. It is also known as Lord Parashurama Kshetra, and is famous for Kanakana Kindi. A centre of pilgrimage, Udupi is known as Rajata Peetha and Shivalli (Shivabelle). It is also known as the temple city. Manipal is a locality within Udupi city.
